Hornbach Shopping Centre – Čestlice, Prague

Hornbach is situated in the southeastern part of the Retail Park Čestlice near the D1 motorway. The building with a total area of 20,092 m2 consists of three functional units, the front and rear façade of which are connected. The main building of the store ‘Dům a zahrada’ (House and Garden) with a central entrance for customers is designed as a single‑,storey building, with a rear part consisting of a two‑,floor build‑,out serving as the social and administrative part. The building includes a car park for customers with a road connecting the car park with the adjacent car dealership. On the northeast side, a partially roofed retail store of building materials with direct sales is connected to the main building, while the garden centre building is connected on the southwest side. This part is designed as a single‑,storey glazed hall with a steel support construction and a hipped roof.
