This modern shopping and entertainment centre located in the north-western part of Nová Karolina offers space for 250 retail units. The building, with dimensions of 170 x 170 m, is built on a formerly mined area using 600 drilled piles and a foundation slab without expansion joints. Underground parking with 1,083 places is available on two levels. As the entire subterranean area is below the permanent groundwater level, the construction was specially insulated against pressurised water, methane and radon with an injection system, including reinforced concrete water management structures.
