BB Centre – Delta Building, Prague

Particularities

The office building is composed of two main buildings, DELTA I and DELTA II, whose ground plans form regular shapes and represent connected letters H. The building has six underground and eight above-ground floors. Rather challenging parts of the project included the laying of the building’s foundations at a depth of 16.5 metres below ground level and the construction of an all-glass cladding with regard to thermal and technical parameters. The construction was carried out under conditions that meet the BREEAM certification level of “very good”, one of the prestigious certification methods for assessing “green buildings” in Europe.
