The building at the site of the Sales Centre ZELENÝ TROJÚHELNÍK – SOUTH in Plzeň was designed as a prefabricated reinforced concrete hall frame with cladding made of sandwich façade panels. The building is connected to adjacent Folmavská Street by a new road. The BAUHAUS Plzeň building has an area of 20,724 m2 and a layout divided into several sales parts. Besides the main covered and heated sales area there is also the partially covered areas of the ‘Drive-in’, which is used for direct entry of customers into the store. The garden centre is divided into a covered and an outdoor area. Restrooms and the security centre are situated at the entrance to the building. There is also a bistro with refreshments for customers and employees. A series of arched skylights, bands of windows and glazed walls bring a great deal of light into the hall.
