New Sports Hall and Canteen at the Higher Vocational School and Secondary Technical School of Civil Engineering Dušní, Prague

As part of the expansion and modernisation of the campus of the Higher Vocational School of Civil Engineering and Secondary Technical School of Civil Engineering Dušní in Prague, a new sports hall was constructed, and the existing premises were redeveloped into a modern school canteen.

The sports hall is a monolithic structure located in the inner courtyard of the school. The building, which features a green roof, includes a 25 × 15 metre playing field and facilities for athletes, including a small fitness room. Until now, the school lacked such facilities for physical education.

The project also included a complete refurbishment of an existing area to create a modern canteen with a capacity of up to 200 diners. The new catering facilities were designed with an emphasis on functionality and operational comfort.

To ensure barrier-free access, a new lift has been installed. The project represents a significant expansion of the school’s functional spaces and provides high-quality conditions for dining and sports activities for both students and staff.
