Olomouc (o)žije and GEMO will be right there with it!

Come along on 20th and 21st June to experience an incredible atmosphere created by over 200 musicians, bands, and artists. This is the 5th year of the largest music and art festival held on the streets of the Czech Republic – Olomouc (o)žije. GEMO is delighted to be the general partner for this unique cultural event once again. The city centre will start to come alive from Friday afternoon with dance performances, and the programme will continue until Saturday midnight.

What to not miss?

The festival is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy an unconventional day with family, friends, and colleagues. We’ve also prepared a diverse programme with plenty of benefits for you. From Saturday morning, you can enjoy a festival shared breakfast with live music in Higher Square.

Around Our Booth

You’ll find the GEMO booth along with some refreshment stalls in Higher Square from Friday. On Saturday, you can cool down at the GEMO bar with mixed drinks. Of course, the popular “Beton” (Becher and tonic) served from a pink cement mixer will be there, as will raspberry lemonade from a builder’s wheelbarrow. From sunset, you can dance at the GEMO Silent Disco with wireless headphones. For children, there’s a GEMO Tetris relax zone with soft blocks and a giant Jenga tower at our booth.

What Else Can You Look Forward To?

GEMO will be both seen and heard in various forms throughout the city streets. We’re bringing the world of construction together with music, dance, and gastronomy. New this year will be GEMO ice cream from Tomivo Gelato and candy floss. Our mascot Super GEMÁK will also be roaming the city streets, handing out balloons to children. You can enjoy musical performances with construction props from the duo Emil and Jakub, known from Czech & Slovak’s Got Talent, or test your skills at a music workshop with Olomouc rapper Tomáš Dočkal, aka Duke of Rhyme.

Children’s Zone

In collaboration with the Sportáček festival, the Letňák Olomouc area will be full of activities for children, including a sandbox with GEMO diggers.
