The Olomouc Region Athlete of the Year 2006

The award ceremony for the Olomouc Region Athlete of the Year 2006 was held in the evening of February 7, 2006, at the Prostějov Town Theatre. This marked the sixth year this award was presented. Tennis player Tomáš Berdych received the top prize for the second year in a row. Canoeist Tomáš Slovák finished second and fitness athlete Gabriela Kubešová finished third. As one of the main partners GEMO OLOMOUC, spol. s r.o. contributed to the staging of this event in the Olomouc Region.
