Financial Donation to Support the Haemato-Oncological Department at the Children’s Clinic, Olomouc Faculty Hospital

As part of the gala evening held on 26 September 2008 to mark the opening of the Omega Sports and Health Centre, a representative of GEMO OLOMOUC, spol s r.o. and GEMO SPORT a.s. presented Prof. MUDr. Vladimír Mihál, CSc, the honourable chairman of Sdružení Šance - sdružení rodičů a přátel hematologicky a onkologicky nemocných dětí, o.s. (Chance Association - a citizens’ association for parents and friends of children suffering from haematological and oncological diseases), with a donation of CZK 500,000.

The aim of this donation was to support anti-tumour treatment for children suffering from haematological and oncological diseases.
