GEMO Provides Financial Donation to Haimaom Foundation for Support of Blood Bone Marrow Transplants

In order to help improve care for patients suffering leukaemia disorders and support the transplant programme, GEMO OLOMOUC, spol. s r.o. has donated 1 million crowns to the Haimaom Foundation in Olomouc.

The Haimaom Foundation was established on 1 July 1997. The idea was hatched at the Department of Hemato-Oncology, Olomouc University Hospital, in response to the growing need to improve the environment for the treatment of leukaemia diseases and coagulation disorders, to equip the ward with modern equipment and to support educational efforts for patients, ward personnel and other haematologists from resources outside standard national healthcare system financing.
