During its 15-year history, GEMO OLOMOUC, spol. s r.o. has increased the number of its own employees from 30 to 500. The company management is fully aware of the fact that quality and content personnel is one of the essential prerequisites for sustainable development. Staff quality is based particularly on education, talent, practical skills and work experience. Intellectual property is the company's core asset. Productivity and quality of work can be increased only on the basis of new technologies, improving machinery stock and particularly with continual education and training of personnel.
The company requires its employees to have a high degree of professional qualities, including commitment, mobility, flexibility and creativity. Language skills has lately become one of the key needs, particularly as regards English and German.
As regards HR management, the company has a plan for the enhancement of its activities, including all individual divisions and establishment of new centres, where the binding deadlines for the establishment of new jobs are consistently monitored and evaluated.

The company has also introduced group personal standards, on the basis of the terms and conditions arranged in the concluded Collective Agreement. These standards include employee qualifications development (study programs or professional workshops for individual professions, and the possibility of language studies, an extra week of holiday exceeding the statutory requirements, allowances for meals, premiums on personal and career jubilees, assistance to employees facing difficult health or social situations, annual financial benefit for the fulfilment of the planned annual profit. The company is also considering contributions for retirement income insurance to selected employees.
